Giving Back to a Community that Gives So Much

IMAH and the Rotary Club of Bishop—Sunrise held a Katrina Clothing drive and within one day our local community donated enough clothing and shoes to fill a large truck and a 10’ trailer.
We gather clothes for orphanages in Mexico.
IMAH’s Sierra Thrift Mall is home to the Prom Closet. Girls and guys can get their dresses and suits and other accessories for free and they can keep the outfits.
All clothing for ages 2 and under is free.
We offer free clothing, household items and the basic living necessities to battered women and their children, many of whom were only able to leave with the clothes on their back and a small suitcase.
All donated cell phones are given to the local police department. They are reprogrammed to dial 911 and are given to battered women in hopes that they can call 911 next time their lives are in danger.
Free blankets, clothing and shoes are given to the homeless.
